HLB Witlox Van den Boomen, Koenen and Co and PKF Wallast join forces

Earlier this year, HLB Witlox Van den Boomen and Koenen en Co confirmed their cooperation. Now follows the announcement that PKF Wallast will also join the newly formed consultancy and accounting firm. The new organization is a leading player in the top 10 consultancy and accountancy organizations in the Netherlands with a network of 15 offices in the economic growth regions of the Southern and Western Netherlands. The combined organization has a combined turnover of €130 million and employs more than 1,100 people. In 2023, the three organizations will continue to operate independently under their own names. In early 2024, they will go public as a new, joint brand.

PKF Wallast
PKF Wallast is a committed partner for businesses with integrated financial, tax and corporate legal services. It operates from five locations in the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Delft, Woerden and Alphen aan den Rijn). Its turnover is 32 million euros and it employs about 250 people.

Stefaan Rodts, PKF Wallast CEO and (prospective) CSO of the new organization, is pleased with the new partnership: “Our shared vision and approach connects our parties and forms the basis for a productive collaboration. Thanks to the increase in scale and the robust network of offices in both the southern and western parts of the Netherlands, we can join forces to improve our accountancy and advisory services. In addition, this offers even more opportunities for existing and future colleagues. We are committed to being top employers by further investing in training, personal development and a people-oriented culture.”

The merger is an important strategic choice, explains Stephan Seijkens, CEO of the new organization: “Our vision is to become the leading accountancy and advisory firm in the Netherlands that is always ready to support ambitious businesses. Through this cooperation we can optimally respond to digitalization, lift our quality to an even higher level, and create a further strengthening of our (labor) market position. In addition, our client has an increasing need for specialist advice to which we respond with our high-quality knowledge from our multidisciplinary approach.”
