New bank account numbers for the Dutch Tax Administration and Benefits Office as of 1 May 2026
As of 1 May 2026, the Tax Administration (Belastingdient) and Benefits Office (Dienst Toeslagen) have switched from ING to Rabobank. As a result, the bank account numbers of both organisations will change as of that date. The new bank account numbers will appear on all correspondence from the Tax Administration and Benefits Office from 1 May 2026 onwards. This includes, for example, the payment details stated on a tax assessment or a letter from the Benefits Office informing you that benefits must be repaid. It might be that for the time being in some cases the ING bankaccount number is still mentioned. You can use the bankaccount number mentioned on the correspondence.
New bank account numbers as of 1 May 2026
The most important new bank account number as of 1 May 2026 will be: NL04 RABO 0200 1122 44, replacing the former account number NL86 INGB 0002 4455 88.
